Steve said it all.Race engines are not like street engines.Our engines are made to make maxium combustion this leaving almost zero emissions.If worse comes to worse NASCAR could always go to some form of alky like the indy cars run and most of your upper class short track cars (Late models,sprints,mods,etc).The only draw back to alky is the fumes,there's times I am sitting in line to go out on the track and being behind the car in front of me is tough,eyes water,throat drys out. ..nasty. But another good thing with alky is it has a higher flash point making it alittle safer during a crash.And it also makes more power.Last of all it would make for more pit stops in NASCAR which might be a good thing on the cookie cutter style tracks,it would keep them tighter together

When thinking of care packages for the homeless, there are many variables as to the nature of the person's situation (e.g. vehicle, on street, etc.), which could impact their needs considerably.For the purpose of my answer, lets assume the scenario of someone who is physically on the street (not in a shelter, but living/sleeping on the street). Consider the following:Anything must be easily carried/kept with them. The person must carry all their belongings with them (e.g. in a backpack, cart, etc). Anything that cannot be taken with them, will usually end up either discarded, hidden somewhere, or stolen; in which case, it is almost never actually used, or kept by the person in their possession. Backpack/Bag/Luggage. Considering that all belongings, food, etc, must be carried with the person; a method of carrying everything is critical, and is why many of the homeless will keep shopping bags with them (a shopping bag might provide a potentially waterproof method of carrying things). Without an easily-carried way to transport their property everywhere they go; it will be left/lost/taken. A backpack or tote bag can be incredibly helpful. (Keep in mind that many places (libraries, etc) have limitations on bag size or quantity, and so a bag needs to be of useful size-but a larger roller-bag is usually too cumbersome or gets too much attention, that it becomes problematic.Space & Weight Limitations. While it might be assumed that a larger-sized item might last longer, the issue of having enough space (or having too much weight) tends to be a huge issue. Travel-sized items are often preferred due to being more-easily carried. Consider that there is limited space in any backpack/bag; and many of the homeless already carry 50-100lbs (or more) on a daily basis, and adding to that weight will only add to their difficulty.Socks & Underwear. In most cases, socks and underwear are rarely changed, yet so often needed. Consider that the person might not have the opportunity to take off their shoes/socks, and so the same socks are often worn continuously for lengthy periods (often weeks or longer). Also, access to public restrooms might be limited, or might be rushed (most places will find excuses to not have the homeless use the bathroom in their store, etc.); meaning that not only might accidents happen (causing odor, irritation), but it also means likely rushed (e.g. if trying to urinate outside, there is likely to be a rush, to not be discovered), and thus perhaps not always having enough time to complete whatever is necessary. Dry vs. Liquid. In many cases, a liquid/bottled item (soap, etc) is likely to break, and will often cause other belongings to be covered in the liquid, often resulting in the other items being discarded (there is rarely anywhere to clean up a mess). If there is a dry version of a product (bar soap instead of liquid), it tends to be easier to carry.Food Preparation & Cooking. Often overlooked, it is effectively impossible for a homeless person to open canned food without a can opener, given what is usually available. Also, there is almost never the opportunity to heat, cook, or prepare anything. A military P-38 can opener is convenient, and can be put on a key-ring. Any food or food items should be easily opened, eaten, and not requiring much/any preparation-imagine a scenario as if on a backpacking/moutaineering expedition, or being forward-deployed in a war-zone and needing to be constantly on the move. Wet = Ruined. In most cases, a homeless person is almost-certain to find themselves wet, due to rain, with no chance of shelter from the elements. Any important documents, bus pass, letters, photos, or IDs, will be ruined immediately upon getting wet-all must be carried with them at all times (to prevent loss), and each is typically ruined upon getting wet, and which cannot easily/ever be replaced. Heavy Duty Zip-Lock Freezer Bags can keep these important items dry, and prevent beimg destroyed.
