You can most likely leave at the end of the month if not sooner. I have heard of new recruits leaving within a couple weeks. But for Marine basic training, if you are not physically prepared I would say wait at least a month. If you are physically active already, I say leave whenever you feel is the best time

Why would there be? Simple economics dictates it's cheaper to buy in bulk.I try never to buy .22LR in less than 500 round bricks. When I bought .308 for my hunting rifle, I picked up the thousand round can at under half the price per round of the 25 round boxes. Most of it will be used in target practice. Cheaper in the long run. Sellers know this. Worrying about that is like worrying about the guy buying groceries near you because he looks scary....he's obviously planning on living at home for the foreseeable future and not on going to prison and having meals delivered, after all

That has been revised to count all persons no matter what their age equally. Now that part I have no problems with. If we went back to the original wording one Representative for every 30,000. Do you have any idea how many Representatives there would be in the house? There are roughly 285 MILLION legal US Citizens in the US. HOWEVER, I do wish they would stick to just counting heads to determine the allocation of Representatives. And leave it to that. But since you mentioned Representatives. How about having the districts drawn up by computers instead of the Gerrymandering that's done today.

You are not trying to write a letter of intent, but rather a letter of request for a recommendation. I cannot write one for you because I do not know your connection to the city or your accomplishments therein. That said, here are some guidelines to follow: Start early. Give letter-writers a minimum of two weeks, and preferably a month or more, to write letters. (This is particularly true for the crucial job recommendation letters.) The letter-writers have other responsibilities and deadlines, and you do not want them to do a shoddy rush job or to resent a demand for immediate gratification. Provide full information: - Write a brief description of the position or honor (and possibly provide a URL or a pamphlet), so that the letter-writer can provide the correct variety of detail. (Actually, in that case you should consider getting letters from others who know you better.) - Provide a filled-out form, a pre-addressed, stamped envelope, and any other necessary materials: do not impose on the letter-writer to get that minutia correct.
