What are good metrics to collect for mobile app analytics?

10 Fundamental Mobile App KPIs to measure for mobile app success.Retention Rate - Lets you know what percentage of users youre retaining. And as a result, youll be able to see how many customers youre loosing to churn.

Churn Rate - Lets you calculate the percentage of users who stopped using an app within a given period.Active Users - The active user metric is different from installation and downloads metric because it sees if users are actually using the app on a regular basis rather than just downloading it. These numbers are great for giving you a baseline understanding of your apps growth.

Session Interval - This is the time between two consecutive sessions of your app and shows the frequency at which user opens and uses the app. This could be a way to measure the addictiveness because it tells how soon or not soon users are returning to your app.Session Length - Session length is the measure of the time period between the opening and closing of an app by the user, or in between the first activity and the last activity that he performs. More engagement would mean longer session durationsTime in App - This defines the time a user stays on your app. Time in the app is a function of session frequency and session length which tells how long users are staying in your app on a daily, weekly or monthly basis and similar to other mentioned metrics this also helps increase the understanding of the user behavior and app usage patterns.Stickiness - Lets you calculate how often people come back to your app. It allows you measure how the changes you bring into your product impacts your user base.Conversion - If there are any actionable features in your app like signing up, making a transaction, filling a form, giving a review, etc youll want to measure how many users are getting converted to goal target. Thus conversion rate is defined as the percentage of users who perform a set of goals or a specific goal that you want them to perform in your app.

Acquisition - The number of users who download your app through specific sourceScreen Flow - See where users are when they exit, and the paths they typically take to get to conversion. There are plenty of app analytics tools, that can allow you to measure your app success. You can also try Walinns - App Analytics & User Engagement Platform that allows app marketers to measure user engagement and target them with personalised channels. (Push, In-app, SMS, Email).

What is the best chapter in the entire Harry Potter collection excluding the additional course books?

HP1 Chapter 5

Diagon AlleyThis chapter won my heart, this is where the magic begins. Entering the Leaky Cauldron and realizing Harry isn't just some common boy, feeling as excited as Dedalus Diggle, as nervous as Quirrel and yet waiting for whats to come next. You can feel Harry's wonder as the bricks melt away with the touch of Hargid's wand (Shhh).Gringotts, the Apothecary, Eyelops Emporium, Ollivanders, Florean Fortescue's, Madam Malkin's, everyplace just seemed amazing and i was frantically designing the shops and the streets in my mind. That's the beauty of reading, visualizing scenes rather than just watching the director's interpretation. Diagon Alley was the first magical place we were introduced to, and it shall always hold a special place in my heart. Hogwarts may be all fancy-shmancy in its castle glory, but Diagon Alley in its hap-hazardous rustling bustling turmoil takes the cake! The concept of Gringotts makes me go Bloody hell! Hagrid surprises everyone with his knowledge concerning stalagmites and stalactites. I so wanted to take the cart ride deep into Gringotts and see the rumored dragon (which one can in a HP theme park in Florida). And the money! Galleons, sickles and the little bronze knuts. 17 sickles to a Galleon and 29 Knuts to a sickle if i'm not wrong. And the goblins, extremely creepy, but goblins! I want beetle eyes at five knuts a scoop. A scoopfull of beetle eyes could be helpful in the most unexpected of circumstances! And the solid gold cauldron. The collapsible telescope. Hagrid's such a killjoy. Curses and counter-curses by Prof Viridian, now that's a handy book to have. I wouldn't mind using the Jelly Legs Jinx on a couple of people i know! We meet all sorts of interesting and important people. Hagrid of course is easy to bump into, but apart from him we also meet Malfoy, Ollivander, Griphook, Quirrel, all who play major roles later. Malfoy shows his true colors as a prick, Griphook i found downright creepy, especially when he relished at the idea of people locked in vaults for ten years! The wand, the magical wand! Everyone was waiting for this part. The wand chooses the wizard. Simply beautiful. JKR described this part with remarkable brilliance, Mr Ollivander and his obsession with finding the perfect wand for each customer of his. I found the Voldy connection a bit too cliche though. The chapter was magic. From the moment Harry walks into the Leaky Cauldron till he returns back to the Dursleys, the chapter enchants and amazes. It provides valuable information and is the perfect beginning to the magical journey the seven books take us through!

How do libraries curate their collection?

It's a huge topic - I'll focus on weeding, or why libraries keep or retire circulating items in their collections. At least in terms of weeding, technology makes it much easier.Back in the old days, librarians in public libraries had to consult the checkout cards in the pocket in the front or back of the book, coupled with personal memory. Now, most library software lets titles be sorted into lists by "Last checkout date" and/or "Number of checkouts." In this screenshot from 2005ish, the "SimTown" game has circulated 23 times in the year in question (YTDCIRCYear to Date Circulation).n nnnSo, once data is compiled, the following human elements come into play:nGenerally, if a book hasn't been checked out in X number of months or years, it will be considered for withdrawal.

If a book has never circulated, and isn't a classic, there's a good chance it will be withdrawn. (Often, though, it turns out the item is missing, and that's why it never circulated.)Classics generally don't circulate well, but libraries feel a responsibility to hang onto them.

Duplicate, triplicate, quadruplicate and quintuplicate copies of new bestsellers tend to get withdrawn within months.Books that were purchased as Memorials tend to be kept regardless of circulation statistics.Books that are damaged (falling apart at the spine, vandalized, waterlogged, etc.

) get withdrawn and usually replaced.

Anything of local interest or written by a local author is retained as long as possible.Multi-volume sets such as encyclopedias are generally being retired in favor of their electronic counterparts. Often libraries in a geographic area will pool their resources to purchase the required license.

Technology - such as software like the game in the sample -- and computer/Internet-related books go out of date very quickly. nnIn addition, shelfloads of obsolete items such as videotapes and audiocassettes are (reluctantly) being retired because fewer people have the devices to play them on; old VCRs and Walkmans can't be repaired, or even bought new. Some large libraries, however, still have extensive collections even of vinyl records, along with devices that play them, at least for in-library use.

Libraries also aren't ordering quite as many extra copies of the latest by bestselling authors; many patrons who don't want to wait a few weeks for their names to come to the top of the reservation list to read a new bestseller can download it to their devices instantly.Others, I'm sure, can provide details on how technology in particular is changing library curation. This is how it has affected (and not affected) the weeding process.

Why Don't Security Services (like Garda's Money Collection People) Have to Conceal Their Handguns?
They are not police, true; however, they are legally armed security officers, and because they move large amounts of money, they are occasionally attacked by those wishing to take that money. At a WalMart in Washington state. in a robbery master-minded by a cashier, the shooter walked up behind the guard and shot him in the back of the head. No demand for the money or anything, just a cold-blooded execution. I am sure if I researched, I could find enough similar instances to let you realize why armored car guards are armed. It is to protect the security guards in the event of a hold up attempt1. car accident with no insurance. collection agency wants me to pay?The main uplifting news here is that they said that they may take legitimate activities. They normally do not say that in the event that its actual. Since they said that they may do it, they likely are not going to do it. On the off chance that they were going to do it, then they likely would not have cautioned you2. When do we need to add content inside for Java Collection? For the left hand side of assignments you need to specify the generic types. For the right hand side however you can use the diamond operator "" IF YOU HAVE JAVA 7 or newer.See here for a small motivation:Why Use Generics? In a nutshell, specifying generic types makes your programs more safe (in terms of security, but most of all in terms of stability). The inconvenience that you had to type a lot of stuff inside the braces is now partly gone because you can just use "" on the right hand side of assignments.Do not do stuff like "new HashMap()", do it so: "HashMap map = new HashMap()". You can also use interfaces in your variable declaration and you should whenever you can, so the best way would be: "Map map = new HashMap()". If you do not use Java 7, or better 8, yet, switch. The new features introduced there make your life easier, especially Java 8's stream API and lambda functions3. Why there is not "the" instead of "a": "It requires A thirty-minute drive to the nearest collection box"?Why there is not "the" instead of "a": "It requires 'a' thirty-minute drive to the nearest collection box"?The drive that is being referenced is just one of many 30-minute drives that are possible; therefore "a," not "the."4. If one were writing the next Indiana Jones movie, what would Indy be seeking to add to his Museum collection?I would like to first answer the subtitle of your question, namely "where should the franchise head next?"...:I think there exists a fantastic opportunity to develop a truly "transmedia" property, which could learn from such disparate things as Will Wright's "Bar Karma", geocaching, Kit Williams's seminal book "Masquerade", and the still as yet unrealized promise of social engagement and crowd-sourcing.For better or worse, few properties are so fully developed in the collective consciousness of the consumer population as successful film franchises: we know the central characters intimately, the likely plot points, the requisite twists, and so much more about the mythology of a successful franchise of films. The result is a springboard for our fullest possible immersion, to a degree that most other brands could not confidently engage upon. We feel empowered to participate as more than just an audience, even if the means do not exist to realize and manifest this sense of empowerment. Just take a look at Ken Miyamoto's comprehensive and inspiring pitch, Jon Mixon's tangential but nevertheless compelling "alternative" concepts, and even Rodrigo Estrada Gil's critical satire. These could not have been developed in the absence of multidimensional, fully realized worlds, characters, and through lines. All that's missing is us.3D film-making is not the savior of the entertainment industry that it has been touted to be, IMHO. It is a stop gap gimmick: at best mildly compelling when used in service of the story (Avatar), at worst a messy device to overlay less than powerful content with a veneer of " a little sumethin' else", but most of the time little more than a flashy (and often dizzying) gimmick, designed not so much to enrich the story, but to justify an increase in ticket prices, and add an unneeded spice to the recipe of storytelling. (Oversimplification warning, simply to make a point) Stories used to be told by a griot, around a fire. Then the listeners began to act out the story, and theatre was born. Then came film, then TV, and the participation of the audience was eschewed, in favor of their acquiescence. The Internet, social media, mobile apps, WiFi, games, and other emerging modes of content creation and distribution have brought the process full circle, and the audience is once more moving toward the warm center of the story circle, participants once more in the telling of the story, first by extending the story across platforms and media, and now - quite possibly - by becoming contributors to the core story itself.Indy hunts a mythical treasure. Why not take a page (or several) from "Masquerade" by Kit Williams, a book that inspired a nation to go treasure hunting? Put an actual item of treasure somewhere extremely well hidden, somewhere in the world. Develop a story line that has crowd-sourced aspects (taking a cue from "Bar Karma", and learning from what worked and what could be improved upon in that production). Intersperse certain necessary story line milestones. Produce long form episodic content, incorporating user-generated plot points, characters, as well as professionally developed and existing characters and plot points. Add a parallel dimension to the experience, extrapolating from the storyline clues as to where this treasure might lie, incorporating video captured on mobile devices by fans, and other content. Use these content and story "uploads" to develop the next chapters in the adventure, always controlling the revelation of clues, so that the treasure cannot be found too soon. The layers of storytelling richness, cross-platform immersion, multichannel distribution, brand expansion, and audience engagement are almost infinite. The revenue generation possibilities are also multifarious. The undertaking would be monumental, but it could - if undertaken with equal measures of ambition, open-mindedness, creativity, and humility - finally help the entertainment industry evolve its business model and open the story circle once more to include one and all.
When Faced with a Collection Item on Your Credit Report, Is It a Good Idea to Tell the Collection Ag
When Faced with a Collection Item on Your Credit Report, Is It a Good Idea to Tell the Collection Ag
Kind of. Paid collections are just as damaging as unpaid collections under the US scoring model, so you definitely only want to pay in exchange for deletion of the tradeline. Whether you tell them to "piss off" is up to you, and if you are UK-based, none of my advice applies. The only time to deviate is when some lender requires you to pay them, like in order to close a mortgage. Or maybe for a government security clearance or something like it1. Has anyone bought the Michael Jackson Ultimate DVD collection from EBAY?I almost bought one today and then i read reviews,my husband is a bigger fan than i am and he does not think this set is as good as it sounds, its not official and much of it is recorded from TV as it was the only place it was shown, according to reviews it is lacking in quality and the CD is an mp3 collection. Its nice enough as a little keepsake but for the money they are costing i would prefer official merchandise.2. How to set a store ID on Mage_Catalog_Model_Resource_Product_Collection?Interestingly, the used flat table is set once and never changed which works for EAV since table name does not change but not for flat since the table name includes the store ID. A workaround would be to make a helper that would swap out the table in the FROM part of the query. Here's an example of such a helper:Then you can use it simply with:I imagine this would cause no trouble for the SQL since you are fetching all data from a single flat table but since it's a singleton the last used store would be used everywhere else. Alternative solution would be to make an observer on catalog_product_collection_load_before which does something like this:I agree that Magento guys should fix this in the _beforeLoad() method3. Whatu2019s included in your toy collection?LEGOs... Lots of LEGOs (mostly Marvel, Star Wars and Architecture lines)Marvel Legends (Currently working on building the complete A-Force team.... Medusa's being a bit difficult to find).Star Wars Black SeriesFunko POPs (Mostly Marvel, Star Wars, Harry Potter)Then I have tons of Figma, Nendoroids and the like, mostly from franchises like Black Rock Shooter, Madoka Magica, Fate, and a few others. I also have pretty massive collections specifically focused on Godzilla, Jean Grey and Emma Frost4. What is the best single collection of Charles Bukowski's works?"Searching Through The Madness for the Word, the Line, the Way" is very good. It is a posthumous collection of stuff that he published while he was alive and then some that were never published during his life time. Check out Raymond Carver if you like Bukowski.5. How can I negotiate with debt collection companies?Figure out how much of the debt is interest and how much are actual products/services you used. Once you start missing payments the interest rate usually jumps to some unreasonable amount. It's crazy. The person who can not pay gets hit with the highest interest rate and it compounds monthly. Then offer less than what you actually paid. Use an amount you CAN pay in case they accept. Let's say you owe $10,000 in actual products/services and with compounding interest you owe $17,000. That would not be an unreasonable jump. Tell them you can pay $6,000. They will likely come back with another number, say the full $10,000. Tell them you would like to pay that but you just can not pay what you do not have and if they want anything you hope they will accept $7.000, you just can not do more. Hopefully they will accept it. Make sure they send you something in writing that this is the amount they will accept. Know that whatever amount you DON'T have to pay, you will have to claim on your taxes as income and you will have to pay taxes on that amount. It's better than filing bankruptcy. My son did this when he got underwater. I tried to get him to file bankruptcy but he did not want to be a deadbeat and he wanted to salvage his credit score in some fashion. He did it his way and it worked. Still took him a couple years to get his credit score back up but it was better than starting over with a bankruptcy hanging over his head and he felt better about himself. He will never do that again. Lesson learned.

What Is Wrong in the Data Collection Programs by the NSA and United States? How Does It Affect the L
What is wrong in the data collection programs by the NSA and United States? How does it affect the life of a common man?The NSA data collection program is one of the most troubling endeavors of our federal government. The amount of data they have the capability to intercept is almost beyond comprehension, their programs put the American public at risk and, worst of all, the agency is insulated from all levels of law.n nThe Scope and ScalenNSA collects about 1. 7 billion pieces of intercepted communications every 24 hours.1 The agency can augment this data u201cwith material from public, commercial and other sources, including bank codes, insurance information, Facebook profiles, voter registration rolls and GPS location information, as well as property records and unspecified tax data.u201d2 The billions of dollars funneled into the program (much of which are secret) ensure the NSA has the computing power to store, process, and use from this information. n nOne example is The Utah Data Center. It will be the largest data farm yet, capable of storing data in the zettabytes. This enable them to u201cstore at least something on the order of 100 years worth of worldwide communicationsu201d3 This data center is so large, it demands 1.5 million gallons of cooling water a day. It marks the deterioration of all privacy, as NSA is authorized and capable of performing meta-data collection without having to check foreignness. 2n n nSurveillance over SecuritynOne of the few known NSA operations, PRISM, involves the systematic exploitation of vulnerabilities in private networks to collect data. As one leaked slideshow explains, u201cmuch of the world's communications flow through the U.S.u201d4 In order to access these communications NSA uses holes in company software. These companies include Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Skype, YouTube and many more providers an average American uses every day.4 This exploitation has led to a conflict of interest. u201cThe agency with the cyber security mission - the U. S. military's Cyber Command is co-located with the NSA.u201d8 NSA couldstrengthen the domestic infrastructure by telling companies about these vulnerabilities. Unfortunately, their interest in securing our networks from cyber attacks is corrupted by their desire for an edge in surveillance. n n nInsulation from Oversight and Law nThe vague and easily contorted policies governing NSA, make their operations exempt from meaningful review and substantive change. Any data that could in any way be linked to u201cforeign intelligenceu201d is within their reach. The September 11th attacks convinced the American public of a false dichotomy: security or privacy. Our choice was made clear by our silent consent to the Patriot Act, the FISA Act, and the FISA Amendment Act, which grant the government power to perform warrantless searches in the name of u201ccounter-terrorism.u201d5 This, despite its direct violation of our constitution, is highly resistant to change. n nRepresentative Conyers stated, u201cWe've been told that we can't even tell how many people are being subjected to this process in the United Statesu2026 and they can't tell us. u201d6 This type of secrecy is makes it nigh impossible for legislators to make changes to the status quo. This issue is compounded by the disparity between technology's rapid development and our legislature's immobility. NSA general counsel Joel Brenner remarked, u201cThe people who write policy don't always understand technology, and the people who write legislation almost never [do]. 8 The choices presented to the American public are security or privacy. The real choice is liberty or control. n 1) This Week in Civil Liberties (2/24/12)n2) N.S.A. The gallery moves forward in time as it progresses westwards through the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and is completed at the west end by recent and current objects, such as watches made by and other items associated with George Daniels, a former Master of the Company, and an explanation of the wristwatch now being manufactured by Charles Frodsham in Sussex. To support horological education, the museum has an information board at the west end, emphasizing the possibilities for new students and entrants to the field of horology, particularly at West Dean College, Birmingham School of Jewellery, part of Birmingham City University, and the British School of Watchmaking. The chronological story set out in the gallery in information panels and labelling has been resolved into a single narrative account, The Clockmakers of London, by the Keeper Emeritus, George White, first published in 2000 and since revised in a new edition with high-resolution images (2018). The data in these blocks were replaced with newly written blocks and now they are waiting to be erased so that new data can be written into them. This is a process called garbage collection (GC). All SSDs, CF Cards, and other flash storage devices will include some level of garbage collection. The speed at which a flash controller will do this can vary.
How Many Records Do You Have in Your Record Collection?
I've answered something like this before:James O'Connor's answer to How often do you listen to your 50,000 music collection?James O'Connor's answer to How many songs do you think you have heard in your entire life?James O'Connor's answer to How many songs do you have in your collection? That ought to answer this1. Do you buy atleast one makeup product from every MAC Collection?Definitely not! If I see something I like and can use, I will buy it, but no way would I ever wear a blue lipstick or hot pink blush in public haha2. Will Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection only be available for a limited time? No, at most it probably wo not be available for pick up in stores, but you could still buy it online. The same thing happened with the original MGS HD Collection that was released in 2011. It was in stores for a few months but then it could not be found in a single store anymore, although to this day it can be bought on websites like Amazon. In short I do not know if the Legacy Collection will still be sold in stores anymore by the time Christmas comes around but if its not, you could still purchase it online3. A collection agency phoned my bf after 4 years claiming he never payed off $4 ooo dollars, WTF?!?I have no idea why "Nick" would need to call the government and a lawyer about a debt from 4 years ago. That sounds like a lot of hooey to me. If "Nick" has proof he paid this bill 4 years ago, all he has to do is send a copy of that to the collection agency and tell them to stop bothering him. What part of the collection agency calling and saying he owes 4k is illegal? For all they know, he still owes it. And really, you do not know really what happened and if "Nick" paid this off. Just by virtue he is saying he called the government and a lawyer makes me think he is full of baloney and trying to impress you. LOL4. What is the best way to display my Hot Wheels collection?I've got a collection of Williams F1 Hot Wheel cars... I put them up on a glass shelf without the cardboard box.5. Where can I get the Friends series collection?Hi there! You can download all the episodes of friends in an app called 'Show box' .You can download or just watch all the English series or movies.Thank you! Hope this helped:)6. My boyfriend has a massive porn collection and refuses to get rid of it, what should I do? It makes me uncomfortable?Cheat on him. That's life7. What is an appropriate amount to put in the weekly collection plate?give what is from the heart, do not advertise8. When did congress become a collection of idiotic chest-beaters?The last time we had a windfall profits tax on oil companies was under Carter. It nearly crushed our economy. By the way, taxes on a company are a cost of doing business. To recoup that tax, they increase prices to their customers. So how would it help in the first place? What I would like to know is where does Waters get off threatening a government takeover of the industry? She actually said that in a hearing.9. If poetry is an art, therefore created in the poet's image, what makes a poem or collection popular?I guess it all comes down to the viewer's personal bias. All art enjoyers (a.k.a. absolutely everyone, if we include absolutely all forms of art, which is absolutely everything and anything involving creativity) have bias: nobody can really love absolutely EVERY piece or form of art ever, because the numbers are literally infinity to the power of infinity. So given all of this, I would say that what makes a poem popular is how popular the topic or structure of the poem is. You know how some music is more radio-friendly than others? Likewise with poems: some are more reader-friendly than others. It all depends on the topics the population prefers10. PVC duct for dust collection: Glue the pipe and fittings together, or will tape suffice?it would seem that the best thing to do is to test your dust collection system without any glue for a few weeks and see how it does. I would venture to guess that the tape would probably be sufficient
Can a Collection Agency Acess Your Safe Deposit Box
No, only the bank may access your safe deposit box, and then only after you allow the lease on the box to expire. Once the payment for the box expires, the bank must wait a certain amount of time (this is laid out in the deposit contract and in some state laws) and attempt to contact you to either collect your belongings from the box or renew your contract. After this period elapses, you are considered to have abandoned the box to the bank and the contents become the bank's property. However, if you leave items such as a deed or a title, you still legally own that property - the bank has a piece of paper that says you own that property. Is this a Credit Reporting Agency or a Collection Agency? I received a call from Equifax with an 800 number?NCO is like the other answers have said a collection agency. They likely have some kind of account you did not take care of. Though that's a guess on my behalf. I do not know where you filled out your form for a free credit report, but if you go to www. annualcreditreport. com you can get a copy for free and see what if anything is being reported on you by NCO. They may have been telling you that if you do not pay them they will report you to Equifax. It may be some old debt that is more than 7 years old. If this is the case, do not bother to send them any money. Debt that is more than 7years old can not go on your credit report. They may try to coax you with a payment plan or some small "good faith" payment. Do not do this either, it will start the statute of limitations over and then this will allow them to report it again, so be cognizant of this. Equifax does not allow others much less NCO to use their name. As far as your final question goes, this is just how they verify your identity when you get your free report. If you did not open, or refinance a mortgage in 2004 just say you never had one, or none of the companies,Can a Collection agency Come after a minor For unpaid rent?my peer is 100% wrong. THE only time a minor may sign a contract is when he/she is emancipated; no other exceptions. IF a minor does sign one and it is accepted by anyone, the contract can become valid when the minor reaches age 18.Do I have to work with a collection agency for a student loan debt that is unpaid since 1994?You do not have to "work with" the collection agency. You do have to pay the debt, unless there is a law that says otherwiseIs it possible for a collection agency to suspend my driver license? No. Only the DMV can do that, typically in response to a moving violation, accident or court order. Debt collectors do not have that sort of authorityWhat should I do when a collection agency tries to take my house from me for a $3000 debt? Is that legal? If a collection agency seizes your property because of an unpaid debt, it must sell it in a commerciall reasonable manner -- not give it away to a relative. I do not believe the collection agency can seize and sell your mother's house for a credit card debt. They can try to force her into filing bankruptcy, but they can not just say, "Your house is mine." The collection agency does not "own" the house because of a deliquent credit card debt. The credit card company and its agency do NOT own your mother's home because she is past due on her credit card debt. I live in Florida, and the only way I can lose my jouse to a creditor is if I am past due on my mortgage. I do not know what the law is in New York, but your mother needs an attorney. Your mother needs a good bankruptcy lawyer, and she should save all correspondence from the collection agency and anyone else concerning the house. Unless your mother gave the credit card issuer a mortgage on her house to collateraize her credit card debt, the issuer has no claim on the house that is ahead of all her other creditors. It soulds like the credit card issuer is trying to intimidate her. Get a bankruptcy attorney!
Orbital Sciences X-34 of collection agencyThe Orbital Sciences X-34 was intended to be a low-cost testbed for demonstrating "key technologies" which could be integrated into the Reusable Launch Vehicle program. It was intended to be an autonomous pilotless craft powered by a 'Fastrac' liquid-propellant rocket engine, capable of reaching Mach 8, and performing 25 test flights per year. The X-34 began as a program for a suborbital reusable-rocket technology demonstrator. In early 2001, the first flight vehicle was near completion, but the program was ended due to budget concerns. Up to this point, the project had encompassed spending of just under $112 million: $85.7M from the original contract with designer Orbital Sciences, $16M from NASA and various government agencies for testing, and an additional $10M for Orbital Sciences to adapt its L-1011 carrier to accommodate the X-34. The program was officially canceled by NASA on March 31, 2001. The unpowered prototype had been used only for towing and captive flight tests when the project was canceled. The two demonstrators remained in storage at Edwards Air Force Base, until they were temporarily moved to Mojave, California in late 2010. This prompted some speculation that they might be restored to flight status. As of April 2020, one of the fuselages was seen lying in parts in a scrapyard in nearby Rosamond, California.------Controversies of collection agencyAlleged abusesThe financial circles and the press have expressed doubts that Bozhkov is manipulating the minority owners by draining Nove Holding by taking out non-public subsidiaries and bonuses for himself. On 5 January 2009, the General Meeting of Holding Roads voted for Bozhkov an additional remuneration of 3.84 million levs. The Financial Supervision Commission does not report any irregularities.Alleged links to the mafiaBozhkov is suspected of having close ties to the SIC group. He is considered a co-owner of the Bull Ins insurance company, although the nominal owners are offshore companies and the connection is unprovable. Bull Ins took over the SIC's "insurance" structures after they did not receive a license in 1998.Bozhkov's name is mentioned in the WikiLeaks correspondence leaked to the US Embassy in Bulgaria. Together with Todor Batkov, Grisha Ganchev and the brothers Krassimir and Nikolay Marinovi, Bozhkov was given as an example "of some of the most famous connections" of Bulgarian business with organized crime.Again, according to information leaked through WikiLeaks, in 2009 the acting US ambassador to Bulgaria John Ordwick in a diplomatic letter identified Bozhkov as "the most infamous gangster" and found that Bozhkov was still active "in money laundering, in privatization fraud, threats, extortion, racketeering and the illegal trade in antiques. He became a correspondent for the news agency United Press International and reported on topics of Asia. He was later employed by The Christian Science Monitor and The New York Times. Bell Canada, Apple Canada, Rogers Communications, Rogers Wireless Partnership, Shaw Cablesystems G.P., and TELUS Communications Inc. operate online music services that sell downloads of digital files of musical works. These service providers allow consumers to listen to free 3090 second previews for those musical works before making a purchase. These previews constitute an online stream (i.e. a temporary transmission of an excerpt of the musical work). The consumer's computer does not store a permanent copy of the preview, but consumers can listen to the previews as many times as they want, regardless of whether they make a purchase or have registered with the online service provider. SOCAN filed proposed tariffs with the Copyright Board of Canada for the determination of royalties to be paid by users when musical works are communicated to the public over the Internet. In its decision released on October 18, 2007, the Copyright Board agreed that SOCAN is entitled to royalties for the downloading of musical works, but not for previews, since previews constitute fair dealing for the purpose of research under s.29 of the Copyright Act and thus do not amount to copyright infringement. The Federal Court of Appeal upheld the Copyright Board's decision. SOCAN appealed to the Supreme Court of Canada.------Mission of collection agencyOCR is one of the largest federal civil rights agencies in the United States, with a staff of approximately 560 attorneys, investigators, and other staff. The agency can be found in twelve regional offices and in its Washington, D.C. headquarters. The Office for Civil Rights is responsible for ensuring compliance by schools that are public entities or recipients of federal education funds with several federal civil rights laws, including:Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (in 34 C.F.R. 100, 101),Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972 (in 34 C.F.R. 106),Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (in 28 C.F.R. 35),Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (in 34 C.F.R. 104, 105),the Boy Scouts of America Equal Access Act (in 34 C.F.R. 108), andthe Age Discrimination Act of 1975 (in 34 C.F.R. 110).In the case of school bullying school districts may violate these civil rights statutes and the Department of Educations's implementing regulations when peer harassment based on race, color, national origin, sex, or disability is sufficiently serious that it creates a hostile environment and such harassment is encouraged, tolerated, not adequately addressed, or ignored by school employees. Under these federal civil rights laws and regulations, students are protected from harassment by school employees, other students, and third parties.------Land accessibility and ownership of collection agencyA few Batwa own very little agricultural land, and the least productive, ( less than an acre per household for the few who have access), in designated locations in hard-to-reach hilly terrain near the forest. The land was obtained from development agencies such as the Adventist Development and Relief Agency, BMCT (Bwindi Mgahinga Conservation Trust) and AICM (African International Christian Ministry). However, before the declaration of the Echuya as a central government forest reserve, the forest was heavily encroached upon. Up to now, some activities such as wild hunting, collection of honey, mushrooms, water, bamboo for basket making, building poles, making of bee hives and fire wood are being carried out by both Batwa and non-Batwa dominant ethnic communities. Batwa, illegally hunt in the forest due to lack of alternative sources of proteins. The forest is also of cultural importance to the Batwa, who offer religious sacrifices to their gods. Echuya Batwa were never involved nor considered for consultation and compensation when the decision-making process to exclude them from the forest was being taken. As a result, most Batwa became landless with extreme poverty and have been reduced to a life of destitution, living on non-Batwa's land as squatters. Batwa have been forced to resort to begging, providing cheap manual labor, prostitution and stealing for survival. They can be referred to as marginalized minority people, internally displaced persons or environmental refugees------Life and career of collection agencyHorsey was born in Evansville, Indiana and moved to Seattle, Washington at age 3. It was burnt down by the Goths during an invasion of the region in 378 AD and never restored. In 544-545 AD, it was buried as a result of a natural calamity, possibly a tsunami in the Black Sea.The Balchik temple is the best preserved Hellenistic temple in Bulgaria, with findings being compared in significance to those of the ancient Pompeii complex, because Cybele is the only known Phrygian deity, the patron saint of Ancient Rome, under whose care his centuries-old battle with Carthage was won. Alexander the Great was trying to build a monotheistic cult around Cybele, and theologians believe that it is this pagan goddess who belongs to the image of the Mary, mother of Jesus. It is considered to be one of the most significant anthropological archaeological finds in Bulgaria, comparable to the nearby Varna necropolis where the oldest gold artifact was discovered. The majority of the statues and other artifacts from the temple form part of the collection at the Balchik Museum of History. The temple itself remains inaccessible to visitors as it is located on private property.
How Much Should I Sell My Heavy Metal Comic Book Collection For?
Well, if you are ever in doubt you can always check eBay, Amazon or some other places around the web to get a good idea for prices. You can also take them to your local comic book store and get a better idea, if you have one in your town! Good luck!1. How big does someone's book collection need to be before you consider it to be a library? When we had to move sixty boxes of books into my second-floor apartment, that gave 'library' status to our back room! Getting some blank library cards and keeping track of who's borrowing what also helps to make it seem a little more formal than it is, and helps minimize lost books, too2. By what criteria does the Library of Congress accept a book for their collection?Good question lots of ways abt one half of the collection is non Roman alfabet books arrive via copywright deposits certain American embassies have Loc staff , donations and they buy books. There is a large group Who decides what to keep and what not to keep. The Loc has more than books. Music films maps newspapers microfilm are only a few it boggles the mind when you hear what the Loc has. There is a core collection and then there is usa and British law reading rooms. Also genology Hispanic sub collections each with its own staff just to name a few of the sub collections. Music reading room has books records and original scores in the composers hand. I would have to write a book to tell you what I know and I was an IT person there not a librarian3. X-MEN comic book collection help? Here are a few good issues with what you are looking for: -Uncanny X-Men #150 (Reprinted in X-Men Classic #54): Magneto gives the world an ultimatum to cede total political control of the world to him and disarm their weapons, or face the end of all life on earth. Magneto vs. the World, essentially and one of the most awesome displays (storywise) of vintage Magneto (both the world-conquering megalomaniac and the man of conscience). -Uncanny X-Men #161 (Reprinted in X-Men Classic #65): This details Xavier's first meeting with Magneto in Israel and the beginning (and ending) of their friendship. This is really the only major story that involves the friendship between Xavier and Magneto. -X-Men (Vol. 2, also reprinted in the Mutant Genesis Trade Paperback) #1-3: A pretty awesome storyarc by Chris Claremont and Jim Lee with the X-Men vs. Magneto and the Acolytes. -X-Factor #92, X-Force #25, Uncanny X-Men #304, X-Men (Vol. 2) #25, Wolverine #75, Excalibur #71: The Fatal Attractions crossover (collected in a trade paperback by the same name), cigar-chomping fellow known for being the best there is at what he does). -Magneto Rex #1-3: Magneto as the ruler of the mutant country of Genosha. -Uncanny X-Men #269, 274-275 (collected in the X-Men Visionaries: Jim Lee trade paperback): Magneto and Rogue fight for their lives in the Savage Land. Magneto establishes himself as someone not to be trifled with. Most of the trade paperbacks and the individual issues of Fatal Attractions, Magneto Rex, and X-Men Classic can all be affordably found on Amazon by searching for the titles (and the issue numbers in the case of the X-Men Classic issues).4. I have a comic book collection that I would like to sell. What is the best way to sell it?Unless it's really valuable (and perhaps even so) the best way is an auction site, like ebay. If it's a big enough collection and you thought it was worth the money you could set up a table and a comic show, but that's sort of a big investment of money and time... The other way is to try to sell it to a comic store, but as they are out to make money as well, it's far less likely you will get your money's worth that route. So I would reccomend an auction site, just make sure that you check sources (Wizard, etc) to see how much your comics are worth so you sell them for the right price!5. What does your book collection look like?My mom bought me two large bookcases so I could have a place to put my novels. I have: Edgar Allen Poe (Complete Collection of Stories and Poems) The History of Adolf Hitler The Holocaust History German Translation Books Ancient Egypt History Collection History of Vampires (not twilight. YUCK) History of Ireland Gone with the Wind History of Edgar Allen Poe History of the Romans Book of the Dead History Ancient Egyptians Book of the dead 'with translations' Death Note (entire series) World War I World War II World's Most Haunted --- and my own novels. =) I have so many books on Egypt and the Holocaust. =) My favorite genres are Horror and Fantasy but my collection is far from complete
What Happens to My Credit Cards and Credit Rating If I Don't Pay a Debt From the Collection Agency?
Nothing can happen to your credit cards. If you do not pay they could sue you. Could - hopitals generally do not sue you in court for smaller amounts. It just ruins your credit for many, many years to come. Employers check credit, so do landlords, lenders and car insurance companies.1. Being sent to a collection agency in fl. for hospital bill?tell the invoice collector that a million. Your dad paid the invoice in finished. 2. The Statute of obstacles have run out and that they are out of luck. 3. do no longer EVER call me lower back related to this "ALLEGED" invoice.2. what happens when a phone company sends your account to a collection agency?your going to get annoying calls and mail saying that you owe money3. estimate what my credit card score would be if i had 50 dollars go to a collection agency but no other debts? You are allowed one free credit report every year4. can I sue a collection agency for garnishing funds that are by law protected from being garnished?I know over the past year in several public assistance, unemployment and disability checks have been opened up for wage garnishment for so individuals can not skip out on paying owed money. You obviously owed someone money and they had to go through the legal channels to get their money from you. Being disabled does not entitle you to just not pay the debts that you owe. If you do not have money to pay your debts you probably should not be buying gifts or have a luxury item such as a pet. What would you sue the collections agency for? Taking money from you that they are entitled to as you repeatedly refuse to pay your debts? Wage garnishment is when a court orders the company issuing your check to pay the collection agency. A judge needs to sign the court order. Your assets will be liquidated to pay off your debts.5. Credit card company/collection agency not honoring pay for delete agreement ... what do I do?Pay for Deletes do not work for charged-off credit cards....A charge-off will stay for 7 years from the date of default...Debt collectors will promise anything over the phone to get the max. amount of money from you. They were lying about their ability to remove the charge-off. If they really agreed to remove the item from your credit report in this letter...the credit bureaus will not honor this..your only recourse if to hire an attorney and sue for breach of contract. Credit card companies have entire armies of attorneys on their side....I am not sure if it's worth picking a fight with them.6. can a collection agency charge interest on my old credit card?It was probably the credit card that charged the interest, not the collection agency. You probably are being charged late fees, interest, and collection fees--not just interest. If you had a lower interest rate to start with, late or missed payment cause the rate to jump drastically.7. Can I sue a collection agency for giving my personal account information to someone without my permission?YOU cannot sue the collector for violating your mothers rights, your mother is the one who would have to sue. If "you" (not your mother) send the collector a cease & desist and they call you again "for collection purposes", then you can sue them (as long as you build a strong trail). The FDCPA on communications with a 3rd party: 805. Communication in connection with debt collection USC 1692c] (b) COMMUNICATION WITH THIRD PARTIES. Except as provided in section 804, without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector, or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, or as reasonably necessary to effectuate a postjudgment judicial remedy, a debt collector may not communicate, in connection with the collection of any debt, with any person other than a consumer, his attorney, a consumer reporting agency if otherwise permitted by law, the creditor, the attorney of the creditor, or the attorney of the debt collector. Suing should never be done without creating a strong papertrail of the violations. If your mom decides to sue them for speaking to you about her account, even though you would have to provide a certified affidavit of the truth of that call, the collector could claim bona fide error in making the call and could possibly walk, leaving your mom to pay court costs. Unless you have strong proof (taped the call, if your state allows it) that you informed the collector in that call that you are not your mom, she does not live there, etc. she needs to build a stronger case. If they have made more than one phone call to you to discuss her accounts, and you told them in every call that you are not her, etc, then they would not have a strong bona fide error defense You say that the collector told you her current address, then you go on to say the collector does not have her her current address - which is it? She might send them a debt validation letter - starting the letter with: This is in response to the telephone call and following letter you had sent to my son. (or something to that effect) You, or she, might click on my profile and go to the last link listed. Do some reading in the credit forum. You will also be able to find sample letter templates and learn the collecting SOL for her state. It is a totally free site to use and also to ask any questions that you or she may have.
